Re: F1 2020 Season Thread

I get the impression the Racing Point controversy isn't going away. Noted that the commentary team from Barcelona kept referring to the car as the 2019 Mercedes. RBR are thought to still be looking at launching further disputes.

Also not noted here yet but likely heard about, Leclerc drove at least 2 laps without a seat belt on, unsure if it was off before he spun off. Not sure how this had been ignored or whether anything is coming from it. Big fan, promising star but he's made some fairly poor decisions in the last few weeks.

Verstappen reminds me of a young Hamilton, outperforming Bottas in a slower car on paper. Hamtilon is two levels above anyone else on the grid but Verstappen is a future world champion of the sport. I struggle to see a top team dumping Hamilton until he falls off a cliff edge though. Comparisons and era's aside, he's one of the fastest drivers to ever grace the sport. Tyre management was definitely on the agenda for the first half of the Barcelona track but when it became clear he was in the clear he just pulled off and there's not a thing you can do about it.
