Apparently, the plan is to ban smoking so that pubs/eating establishments can place tables/chairs outside - which will help attract more customers without exposing them to the nasty smelly harmful fumes from us annoying smokers.

It's very rare I go out anywhere now, because I found if I wanted to smoke I had to stand outside in the wind/rain/sleet/snow . . . best of luck enjoying a meal in those conditions

Shame really, me and my mates used to spend a lot of money in pubs/clubs
