John went into self preservation mode and turned off his hearing aids.

On again now but having just sneaked up behind him, whilst he snaffled one of my freshly baked biscuits, I tried out my much amplified two finger whistle and he now appears to have developed a nervous twitch whenever he goes near the biscuit tin.
