I've recently read 7 books in the 'Peter Grant' series by Ben Aaronovitch, enjoyed them all

Next up is the 'Jack Caffery' series by Mo Hayder


edit: Something of a recommendation for some of you, Douglas Lindsay - The Barbershop Seven omnibus (featuring Barney Thompson) was a witty and very entertaining read for a few weeks.
