Re: Caroline Flack found dead

As someone who has been rock bottom, I can certainly empathise with what Caroline must have been feeling in those last few hours. For some of us, however hard it might be for others to see and understand, suicide might not be THE only option, but it can often be seen as THE only option to end suffering inside. Especially with the stigma still surrounding mental health illnesses, people are scared to reach out because they don't want to be seen as weak. Or feel like they are a burden to others.

I only hope that, however painful it might be for her family, they realise that Caroline has found peace in herself. You might call her selfish for doing it, but try putting yourself into a person with mental health issues shoes and spend a day thinking that nobody gives a toss about you, that nobody would care if you weren't there tomorrow, that the only way to end the pain you feel inside yourself is to kill yourself. God knows, that's where I am right now. I don't know what's giving me the strength to carry on, but stop judging people with mental health illnesses and try offering help and support.
