It's not just Man City, there are probably half a dozen clubs this season facing possible points reductions and/or fines for irregularities . . . and they're all kicking and screaming looking for a 'get out of jail free' card.
If nothing happens, you can expect all the clubs that
have played by the rules to simply ignore them in future
