Sky Sports red button coverage isn't in the EPG at all. The slate that's displayed when nothing else is on is basically just an application that's under Sky's control.

The EPG data is supplied by an external company, Gracenote. They update the data when any of the broadcasters tell them there's been a change.

I can't see this ever happening, or at least not on V6. Sky supply and operate their red button application, but there is no mechanism for it to schedule recordings.
