Obesity now causes more cases of four common cancers in the UK than smoking, according to a charity.
Cancer Research UK says bowel, kidney, ovarian and liver cancers are more likely to have been caused by being overweight than by smoking tobacco.

A bit misleading in the sense that it seems to be limited to these specific cancers, lung and throat cancers are probably still the most caused cancers from smoking, and this statistic is probably helped by a overall reduction in smoking related cancers as fewer people smoke however still noteworthy.
