A folding bike!

Problem: between my bus stop and my workplace there's a little matter of a walk of 0.6 miles. I've gotten sick and bloody tired of this after 3+ years of it, but I can't face the 10+ miles of cycling to work...mostly uphill.

My regular bike can't be taken on a bus, of course.

Solution: a folding bike can, though! I got one today from Argos, £130 - I think it'll do the job. Plus if I can manage to shave two or three minutes off my (former) walking time I can get a slightly earlier bus - they're every 10 mins (allegedly!), I finish at 07:30 and I can't quite walk fast enough to get the 07:36 bus...especially not after several hours' heavy labour.

Now I won't be walking!
