Thanks Stephen, but at this stage no warrent has been issued. However, as it's suspected that a crime has been committed and someone may come to harm, VM have been required to give the police the name and address of the account holder.
Do you know if VM will require a warrant before they disclose any further information, or if they are likely to accept the clause in the GDPR that allows them to disclose information about the relevant customer?
I know that the information needed will eventually be provided, i'm just wondering whether VM will play ball or not.
