I suspect that then becomes a matter of true sovereignty trumping prosperity, temporarily. The Remainers regard that as lunacy and they suspect that in a 2nd referendum, much of the public who voted Leave would turn. They might be right and it doesn't bother me if that happens. But I'd rather leave with no deal than take the deal on offer.
