If that was their policy they would be advancing at the speed of the slowest. As long as the facility is made available to all platforms on request, I don't see that as a problem.

That's a bit harsh, Raider. This is not easy and they have been working on it for some years with the objective of getting it right first time. I think we should just be grateful that UHD is finally available and look forward to having many more programmes in UHD in the near future.
