This needs VM's attention. There should definitely be more than one upstream.

As to the "momentary lag now and then", that's an issue with the Hub 3's CPU behaviour, which causes an interrupt every half minute or so. Lots of people are concerned about this with gaming and VM (and other cable vendors in the USA using the same chip) have no real answer for this.
