To clarify, I said I don’t think anyone who drink drives deserves sympathy, especially when they crash into cars with kids inside. Ant, I’m sure, wouldn’t want or expect any. But on a personal level, I’m very sad to see him like this & wish him well with his recovery.

Sorry but I totally agree with this quote from Piers simply because as I know first hand how devastating the loss a drink driver can actually cause.
I don't think anyone who drink drives deserves sympathy and I'm not sorry for thinking this as a drink driver killed someone I knew and was close to hence the reason I feel so strongly, the only people whom deserve sympathy is the poor buggers left to pick up the pieces of their broken family through someones selfish behavior.
May I point out never once did I say I don't sympathise with someone who suffers from anxiety or depression because I do just not drink drivers I'm afraid.
