Remember Sky have restrictions in place which means if you don't subscribe to the channel you recorded a show from, you can't watch it, so content restrictions aren't new.

With sky you can record loads of movies through the year (without subscription) then subcpscribe for the minimum month and binge watch them.

This doesn't seem to be possible with virgin.
