All manner of alternative "facts" will be spewing out of the Kremlin media conduits and it's social media shill empire over the coming days and weeks as they did when the Malaysian airliner was shot down over Ukraine. Propagate enough bull excretia and all but the least gullible will be diverted from the genuine facts.

Putin loses face if the Russians are proven to be directly involved in these chemical attacks thus publicly legitimising his botty spanking and he loses face if he hangs his mate Assad out to dry in public.
