Up until around 2001 - 2003 when the analogue system was being phased out, feeds came in from Sky to each hub site (AFAIK) along with local terrestrial channels that are specific to that site.
Since it all went digital however, the TV all now comes from the super headend as a multicast stream, which may have some remaining satellite-fed signals feeding into it (at the super headend).
I think the hub sites are still used for local playback of on-demand stuff - but the content is probably all IP based now and streamed from there rather than being dedicated a channel for it.
