No decision has been reported as far as I know, but it is obvious that this cannot go on, Den, as indicated in the link I posted on the previous page of this thread.

People haven't got bottomless pockets. One thing that could happen next time, and this is speculative, is that BT may seek to take advantage of any indication that Sky would pay less to put in a one-off high bid as a loss leader to grab majority sports rights from Sky.

That is not as daft as it seems. Sky are reported to have indicated already that they are not prepared to keep bidding higher for sports rights regardless of the consequences. The only question now is, have we reached that point yet? Let's see what happens...
