Exactly same issue i had before i reverted back to the home hub 5, bts home hub 6 is useless at moment hopefully a future software update fixes it.

Wherever you go, it will be a downgrade, Richard, as long as you accept this.

Sky is the only place to go to maintain or exceed your TV choice selection and any broadband provider other than Virgin will be inferior.
Not really no just because a router is faulty or having issues doesn't mean you need to switch, in this case the op could source a home hub 5 which works superbly or buy a vdsl router of their own.
TP-link are pretty solid routers, vms new hub is far worse from what i've read on various forums but same with vm no need to switch just because of a rubbish hub just connect another router to the superhub and use the new router to conect too.
