I've been told that 4SevenHD wasn't added to the NIT until it appeared on the EPG, so that accounts for last nights increase of one in the Total Channels figure.
The previous increase was, indeed, related to the "channel moved" placeholder channels. Dormant SID 4464 "Channel Moved" was removed from the NIT, dormant SIDs 4403 "Channel Moved 3" and 4404 "Channel Moved 4" were added to the NIT, so a net increase of one. Last night, SIDs 4403 and 4404 became active and were both renamed as "Channel Moved". Sometimes, changes to the "Total Channels" figure are relatively meaningless.
