That's not hypocrisy. People's circumstances change over time. Some people stay with their same political beliefs but others will change as they pay taxes, get a mortgage, a pension and so on. I mean the Tories tripled tuition fees and tripe-locked pensions. It's hardly surprising that students are more likely to go Labour and Pensioners are more likely to go Tory.
