To be fair, you have management contacts, which helped you to get the arrangement that you did. And there's nothing wrong at all in using that contact to your advantage. Other people will not have that advantage and it could be difficult for them to achieve the same result.
Here's a thought; without that contact, you may have been heading for Sky now!
