As RobboEdin says, callbacks happen about every 6 hours, so if the change is made within 6 hours of broadcast it's a matter of luck whether it is picked up. The earlier the change is made, the more chance the box will pick it up.
Sometimes when there is a high-profile change, an extra callback will be scheduled so every box picks it up, but this didn't happen yesterday.
