I too recall The Guest Channel on NTL, but I remember it being on longer than a few days; IIRC it changed every month.
Then, one month 'Rapture' was The Guest Channel. After the month was up it remained on its own channel on the most basic package at the time and The Guest Channel was no more.
I suspect that they had just signed a carriage agreement with Rapture and used this to create the impression that it was something extra for the final month of The Guest Channel
