I'm absolutely sure some BBC Freeview Broadcasts are 1080p on the T2 platform.

Digital Cinema 4k resolution is 4036 x 2160.
4k UHD Resolution is 3840 x 2160.
I'm sure that BT say 4k UHD which is correct.
My TV will take the larger resolution of 4036 x 2160 and ignore the extra vertical lines so the picture shows with no stretching or shrinking.
