Tivo not connecting to VM message

Just found the following message on our Tivo box, dated Sat, 10/9

The tivo box has not connected successfully to the Virgin Media service for more than 30 day (M58). Until the Tivo Box connects successfully no programmes will be recorded...
I selected the 'connect' option and the process (whatever it was) completed after a few minutes but I have no idea what was wrong as no programmes have been missed.

Can anyone shed any light please? TIA as always.
