I think this country is still way too sensible to elect Corbyn thankfully but we desperately need a party to hold a governing party to account and prevent any serious lurches to either extreme. I think too many people in the last couple of decades have become so disappointed in our political system and in turn have become apathetic to the whole process that until we start resolving that our politics is going to continue in dire straits. I don't know how we resolve that but politicians dropping spin and soundbite policy would be a start and actually leading by example instead of the "trust us" attitude of recent leaders might be a good start.
