I have made no secret of my dislike of Sky, but Chads post has cast new light on an obviously changed situation.
I've not missed vm or sky t#bf i'm back with BT now as some know i was stung by a lower price company SSE but anyway back on topic lol i find that bt tv offering alongide my us login gives me all the tv i need and more.
My experience on leaving vm was very negative they tried to threaten me by saying 2no other provider has fibre optic in my area and leaving mid contract will result in my credit report being damaged" this was ofcourse a huge lie i knew i'd have to pay a penalty but i got out of it as it was the time isps were getting court orders to block certain sites, i argued that they wasn't providing a unlimted service as i had originally signed up for. They argued but surprisingly ofcom found in my favour and VM had to settle with me just paying for my final month, i was in two minds to tell them where to go but i paid it and they still tried to say i owed them money which i don't.
Maybe this will help clear up why i have a bee in my bonnet regarding vm i think they are a vile company and deserve to fail, however i don't want them to fail as that would mean job losses.
