(No jokes folk about the app taking 15 minutes to load on Tivo, folks! )

Interesting to see how VM customers seem to watch the app more than customers on other platforms. Could bode well in negotiations for other on-demand services. Paid apps could be a great area of strength for VM against Sky. Whatever people say about smart TVs and devices, it's convenient having them all on one platform especially now that the new Tivo is reported as being pretty quick.
To be fair people on the likes of VM and Sky have already shown their willingness to pay for content so it's no wonder they are keen to launch apps on these set top boxes.

Netflix would love to be on Sky Q and who can blame them now they are already on Virgin Media's , BT's and Talk Talks tv services.

Don't forget VM advertised Hayu through its Discovery bar and through emails etc. You'd be surprised how many people haven't a clue about half of these apps clearly a deal like this gets them better noticed.
