I have said for a long time that the number of apps on the Tivo need to be increased substantially, so I agree with your comment, Andrew.

I hope that the new Tivo will come equipped with hundreds of apps including Amazon and Now TV. In my opinion, that will make the Tivo a very useful piece of kit, provided it is indeed fast and there is no buffering.
