That's what I did last year and got a deal on Sky TV (similar to the recent MSE deal) whilst keeping BB (with a loyalty discount) & phone with VM for the same reason as you. Because of the deals it was still cheaper than having everything with VM. Only snag is that this will re-contract you for 12 months on BB & phone.

this is wot I did but I just kept the broadband 200meg for £39 didn't want the phone (BB & PHONE £48) as we all have mobiles.
It works out that I still pay the same as I would if I didn't leave but I get sky sports , movies and multi-
room for free.
