More than half the threads on the homepage are complaints about speed.
But joking aside, even the current Tivo can manage when first installed or wiped clean, it's after a few days of use and in areas where the network is over utilized that anything useful can be determined.
I imagine VM will now dismiss any complaints about the current box being slow, even more than before, as attempts to get a free upgrade.
I see the mods over there have now categorically stated no firmware changes will be rolled back.
