If the address is linked to your account, i.e It's the one you log into virginmedia.com with then it's likely you'll lose it and any daughter addys. If you had it from an earlier dial-up for instance then providing you keep plenty of traffic through it it's likely to stay up. No guarantees though. I still have an @virgin.net addy that keeps going though the dial-up lapsed years ago.
Most here will advise obtaining a non-isp addy from a third party.
