Just to be clear and I know some here disagree, but the City don't.... John Malone has more than just a stake, he
controls Discovery. They have different kinds of shares in America and he holds a kind that gives him greater voting control than the actual stake he has.
Discovery is his. Eurosport is his. VM is his. Liberty (both of them) are his. QVC is his and perhaps soon he'll add Lionsgate and/or Scripps/AMC to that as well.
