Re: More price rises
This may finally be my “out” with vm
Renegotiated my package/contract a couple of months ago to something I was happy with
I got my first bill last month and line rental had been added so it was 18 quid more than I expected
Last year vm paid my line rental saver for me – my new contract states that line rental is included
What wasn’t made clear to me during the phone call was that it was running out and wouldn’t be renewed
I was absolutely furious when I found this out and called to cancel, I was told that as I had just started a new contract there would be huge cancellation fees to pay. I think this is a dreadful way to treat a loyal xl customer of over 10 years
I ended up reducing bb and phone package to save a couple of quid and reluctantly paid the bill
Am I right in thinking this price rise means I’d be able to cancel without penalty?
Honestly I’d be happy to get rid of the lot apart from broadband and use the streaming services or see what sky want to offer me – some of the links people have posted here look very interesting
