I saw the Big Kahuna deal on VM's site for £49.99 which I'm paying £72.48 for. Soon to be over £75 when the new price hike kicks in.

Rang them today and was offered a £7 pm "loyalty" discount and a new 18 month contract (?!). I offered to downgrade my BB to the 100MB and that would have been a total £9 pm discount inc. the loyalty. So I told them to go ahead and cancel.

Not sure where to go from here, need to weigh up the costs of my partner joining VM as a newbie or risking Sky's rubbish BB offering with the MSE deal.

I would have accepted the £7 discount but an 18 month contract is an absolute joke, especially when new customer contracts are only 12 months now.
