Most of the time I'm accused on this forum of being over optimistic.

What I'm saying is even if home-produced content becomes cheaper, it doesn't make content and hardware costs for us Brits any cheaper. That's not politics it's economics. So we need to understand the squeeze that pay-TV companies will face alongside the increased sports rights costs etc.
