You can be observant and notice the app's removal but use your mobile phone for weather; the two are not opposites.
I am surprised anyone used such a service but appreciate that not everyone has a smart phone and everyone's different.

Many things are priced in $ from microchips to film rights. With a weaker Pound, this will unfortunately feed through into pay-TV costs over time.

Agreed.
Bearing in mind Sony's high-quality positioning of its electronics division, I've always been surprised at the way its TV channels are pitched at the other end of the market.
