Well in Glasgow/Scotland Scotrail have been striking for weeks now over plans to allow drivers to close door on trains in place of a conductor.

It doesn't really bother me as I have a ticket and use the automatic gates at stations. However for disabled passengers who need the ramp then not having a staff member on the train who can deploy this may be a worry.

There is CCTV and of course the driver is still there.
