I support strikes that make passengers safer

http://www.itv.com/news/london/2016-...ys-of-strikes/

Passengers will suffer strike action next week by Southern Trains. But l fully support any strike, that makes it safer for passengers to travel on tubes or Main line trains.

When passengers travel at any time of the day or night. There must be extra staff on trains, and at stations.

I was at a Main Line station recently. And there was NO ONE on duty, yet passengers on the platforms.

What happens if someone is taken ill, or is attacked. You cannot always rely on CCTV, as it takes approx. 30 minutes to be called or you have to depend on public support.

Govia, who run the service, are in danger of losing the licence. Due to constant problems on there network

Having an extra person on the train is paramount.
