Not that long ago anyone who dared to point out that this sort of thing was likely to happen would have been called a scaremongering fantasist and far worse. Well, regardless of the motive in this case, it's happening now and our nice liberal ways are under threat from those who evidently want to benefit from them when it suits but won't tolerate them when it doesn't...

Let's hope those involved make a full and speedy recovery.
