Cameron did ok considering the difficulties of 2008 and having to be in a coalition. Managed the first term quite well and even increased his majority, not a small achievement. He has undermined that by the Scottish and EU referendums, probably far too confident in his ability to control things.

Politicians always have mixed records. No one leaves office undamaged by some scandal or another and few bow out on top.

The biggest irony here is that a year ago he won an election largely based on a platform of stability in contrast to the 'chaos' they had convinced the electorate that Miliband represented.

I don't mind Cameron though. I like pragmatic and controlled politicians as opposed to the populism that people like Corbyn and Leadsom represent.
