This is a good thing.
Now that everyone's aware of just how crappy ALL of the parties are now quite frankly, then there's every chance that something good may come out of it in the future.

It amazes me that anyone is really surprised at the tactics employed during this contest, the referendum (by both sides) or past elections. FGS when was an election ever won by a govt. which told the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth? It's laughable. The referendum is far from a unique example of lies, spin, duplicity and anyone who calls its validity into question because of that ought to do likewise for every election in living memory I reckon. The lies have been told, the votes have been cast, the result is clear and we need to get on with the job.

Whilst we may see another spate of navel gazing and the usual accompanying media frenzy as a result of recent events, it won't be long before they're as quietly forgotten as all the fine sounding words issued following Jo Cox's murder and it'll be back to business...
