It's no big deal but Virgin do build it up that an engineer will visit, asking for someone over 18 to be present and it will be something of an anti-climax if Yodel do turn up and it turns out to be a DIY job.

By way of an update, a great guy called Mike, a real engineer, turned up at 11.44am. He swapped the old modem for the SuperHub3, set it up and even put it in modem mode for me. He said he was surprised that he had been called out to do this as usually the modems are sent out via Yodel.

Ironically there was another Virgin Media van just up the road updating someone else's superhub.

After everything was working,he left about 12.04 pm to do some external work in the Virgin Cable box up the road leaving a very happy customer.
