The snp have jumped on the referendum as a good excuse for their long-term aim and why not it's not like they are the only one's making good use of the referendum. I think the problem is that sturgeon mistakes remaining in the EU meaning happy to leave the UK and I'm not convinced that's the case and neither fully does she or she'd have gone for it straight away. She will wait for a few polls to roll in saying their is a majority for independence then she will jump regardless of other aspects. Of course the other problem is how much faith do you really want to put into polls given their modern track record

I would still support a non binding referendum for the rest of the UK if there is another Scottish independence referendum as the issue affects all of the UK and everyone should have a voice.
