Thats the reason for all the IF's. Theres a lots of complications involved BUT england (and wales) have annoyed the leaders of european countrys quite a bit, would that annoyance be enough to overcome spanash resistance.
They could even word it in a way that dosnt give hope to catalan as the suituation
could be totally different. This wouldnt be a case of a breakaway state joining the EU, it could infact be worked quite the opposite its a breakaway state (england/wales maby n ireland depending on possiable unifacation) LEAVING europe while the remenants (Scotland) maintain their current position.
for balance im English pro-union and pro europe so i dont want any of these this to happen but anythings a possability now unfortunatly.
