For one thing, the new Sky Cinema channels will be an enhancement to what you are currently paying for, and secondly, you will probably have to pay extra anyway for the UHD (either to access the UHD channels or for your ability to receive them on the new box, or both).

You also assume that the UHD channels will not be available to Virgin Media viewers. Although Sky have said that Sky Cinema in UHD will be available to Sky Q customers by the end of the year, they have not gone as far to say that it will not be offered on other platforms as well. There may well be negotiations taking place on this between Virgin Media and Sky as we speak, for all we know.

Just to be clear, a refund is definitely not on the agenda!
