Re: England might get kicked off Europe sooner than we think
years ago I worked in Switzaerland, I became a regular in a pub in Zurich near city centre. It wasn't a football fans pub, just a regular pub, one Saturday afternoon, after last match of the season some of the away fans came in to the pub, the atmosphere was fine, jovial messing about, some-one tooks ome-ones hat, it started getting passed around, then all of a sudden it was chairs being thrown around, the barmen forced the visitor out, closed the shutter,s locking us in, we could hear thudding as the away fans threw the outside plastic chairs at the shutters.
it was pretty scary, I think the person who was most scared was one of the away fans who was coming back from the loo as it all kicked off, so was stuck with loads of "us" between him and his mates, I'm glad to say he got through "us" unharmed.
It's not just England fans who do this sort of thing, but if there is trouble between any other fans it doesn't make our news, whether the locals started it or not.
