For channel choice, VM will never match Sky IMHO.

The only significant channel missing from Sky, is Atlantic, and that's been the case for the last five years.

Sky grabbed Showtime recently. Why didn't VM previously do a deal on that? You can't blame Sky for making deals whilst the pay TV opposition is showing no interest in content. Amazon and Netflix have taken the rights to other quality shows, on a show by show basis, or with smaller distributors.

Quite frankly, the situation as it currently is, works very well for me, giving me quality shows via Now TV, Prime and Netflix, coupled with a minimal Pay TV sub.

VM may have missed the boat for obtaining a significant amount of quality content.
