I'm ashamed to say that I hadn't realised this was on TV until earlier this evening when I was lucky enough to see some of the coverage on BBC.

I think it's a great concept and it's clearly giving something immensely important to some of those we should feel most proud of. Whether it be a route out of depression/alcoholism, a new sense of pride and self belief, a target to work towards whilst making whatever recovery from injury is possible, a reignited sense of camaraderie or whatever, I think what these competitors are achieving is inspirational.
